Dialogos
The Latinos and Planning Division continue to host dialogos (Spanish for dialogues) to identify critical planning issues affecting Latino communities and Latino Planners around the United States.
As part of LAP's dialogo initiative, on April 19-20, 2013, Texas A&M University's College of Architecture and the Dwight Look College of Engineering co-sponsored the first Dialogo on the Border conference that took place in Brownsville, Texas.
The Division is happy to announce that the "Dialogo on the Border" won the Student Award from Central Texas APA and from State of Texas APA. Edna Ledesma, a PhD student from Texas A&M led the student effort. Award details can be found at the Texas A&M College of Architecture Bulletin.
