Spotsylvania County seeks a Transportation Planner/Engineer to perform professional transportation planning, analyses, and land development review for the County's Department of Planning and Zoning. Work involves conducting transportation reviews for public hearing cases, site plans, and plats for both residential and non-residential projects, and other development proposals to ensure compliance with the Comprehensive Plan, County Code, and Design Standards Manual.

The position will provide technical assistance with updates to the Comprehensive Plan and its implementation, presents findings and recommendations to the Transportation Committee, Planning Commission, and Board of Supervisors as needed, and will serve as a County liaison to VDOT and FAMPO/GWRC.
