Environmentally Sensitive Areas

The city’s development code applies standards to all land and development within the city to protect environmentally sensitive areas. It addresses the review process, classifications of environmentally sensitive areas, official maps, development standards, design and improvement standards, clustering standards, and alternative environmentally sensitive areas plans (Subchapter 17).

Solar Energy

The city's development code permits solar panels in historic districts if their placement does not have adverse effects on the building or the district (§35.7.9.5.K.4, §35.7.13.5.K.4).
