The subdivision code's section on design considerations for mobile home parks strongly encourages an east-west axis orientation offering southern exposure to their longest wall and roof area; if topographic conditions make good street orientation difficult or undesirable, lots should be laid out so that units can be oriented to the south to the greatest extent possible (Secs. 265-40.C,D).
