The town's zoning code includes solar access provisions to promote the use of solar design (Sec. 3340). Solar energy systems are exempt from glare restrctions unless the glare creates driving hazards or reflects directly on any building (Sec. 3341). New development should be designed so that the maximum number of buildings receive unobstructed sunlight on their southern exposures between 10 am and 3 pm (Sec. 3342).
