The city’s land development code uses a form-based approach, and as such, illustrates and extends specific guidance to bicycle facilities (§4.4(2-12)). The required bicycle parking spaces are set as traditional minimums, per use, under the specified design guidelines.

Solar energy

The city's land development code defines detached solar collectors and permits them as accessory structures in all residential districts as long as the system is not located in required front or side yards and it has a compatible exterior appearance with that of the principal building (Sec. 23-7; Sec. 23-97.b.6).
