Green Stormwater Infrastructure

The city’s code of ordinances offers a density bonus and provides criteria for low-impact development (LID). It offers density bonus for properties in a Mixed Use District (§18-185.e.4.a) and lists design criteria for a project to be considered LID (§18-543.c.2). The code of ordinances refences a Low Impact Development Guidance Manual for design, implementation, performance, and maintenance of best management practices (BMPs) (§18-737.a).

Solar Energy

The city's land development code includes regulations for PUDs thta allow for a 10 percent increase in density in exchange for siting for solar access (Sec. 18-294.b.1).
