This functional plan, which is intended to assist the town in meeting its commitment to reducing municipal energy use by 20% between 2009 and 2014, notes the solar array installed by the town at a water pump station and suggests the town pursue additional large- and small-scale solar arrays to further increase its use of clean energy (pp. 29, 33-34).
