Report a broken linksolar energy
The city's zoning code permits rooftop accessory solar energy systems in all districts by right; freestanding accessory solar energy systems as conditional uses in all districts; and solar gardens as conditional uses in agricultural and special districts (§121-46(a)).
Passive solar design and building-integrated systems are exempt from use-specific standards and treated like any other building element (§121-46(b)(1)).
Use-specific standards address setbacks, height, placement, coverage, placement of power lines, aesthetics, vegetation (§§121-46(b)(2)–(11)), safety (§121-46(c)), and abandonment (§121-46(d)).
