Comprehensive Planning

This guide and model policy tool from the University of Minnesota's Design for Health project includes a checklist and audit tool designed for communities to evaluate comprehensive plans. These goals specifically focus on integrating public health-related content throughout the comprehensive plan. Questionnaires are provided for the land-use, transportation, water resources, parks and open space, and economic development/redevelopment elements of the comprehensive plan.
