Design Review

The city's land development code addresses design review. Chapter 22.66 establishes an administrative design review process for projects that require construction permits or discretionary approval. The code describes the process (§22.66.008) and submittal requirements (§22.66.009); one-step and two-step processes are available. Projects are reviewed against design guidelines provided in Chapter 22.64. The design guidelines address a number of building and site design elements, as well as lighting, landscaping, signage, and other areas.
