The city developed this comprehensive, user-friendly online development review guide to walk users through the development review process as the result of a development review audit process. A color-coded flowchart explains each step in the development approval and building permit processes and shows their relationship to each other. Webpages offer detailed information on getting started, conceptual/preliminary design review, application submittal and pre-submittal meeting, staff review, public hearing, submitting final plans, obtaining a building permit, final staff and plan review, signing development agreements and applying for construction permit, development inspection, building permit, building inspection, and certificate of occupancy.
