Design Review

This document, developed by the city's Downtown Design Review Committee, provides standards (minimum project requirements) and guidelines (more flexible thresholds that projects should meet) for projects within the city's downtown. Two levels of review are available, Tier I (administrative review for smaller-scale, lower-impact projects) and Tier II (site plan review for larger, higher-impact projects). The guide describes review procedures and requirements, and then provides detailed and illustrated standards and guidelines for new construction, existing construction, and streetscapes.
