Design Review

The city's architectural design guidelines were adopted in 2003. They focus on respecting the natural environment and characteristics of the site and designing high-quality, interesting, and harmonious architectural building features. The introduction explains the general plan goals implemented by the guidelines, lists nine key design issues/principles, and goes through the development/design review process.  Chapters address single-family and multifamily residential, general and downtown commercial, special consideration land uses, R&D business/industrial, and signs.
