Food Systems

This city council resolution lists 10 goals to provide guidance for analysis, program development, policy development and actions related to Seattle and the region’s food system sustainability and security; includes specific assignments for 10 city departments to help the city better promote local food production and access; supports the formation of a local food policy council and commits to city participation; and requests the cooperation of county, regional, and state entities in pursuing this agenda.
