Food Systems

The city's action plan for food systems establishes five priority action areas: food production, empowering residents, food access, food processing and distribution, and food waste. The plan evaluates the city's current food system, references the Vancouver Food Charter's vision and principles, establishes five goals, and offers extensive lists of short-, medium-, and long-term actions on a wide variety of topics within the five priority action areas.
