Small Wireless Facilities and Wireless Facilities in the ROW

The city's zoning code addresses wireless communication facilities. Ordinance provisions adopted in 2012 provide overall regulation of wireless facilities and rank utility pole installations and PROW locations as part of the city's preferred locations list (§25.77.080.c). The code states that the community development department will process applications for wireless facilities in the public right-of-way and apply the city's wireless facility design criteria, while the Public Works Department will review these requests for potential interference with other uses in the PROW (§25.77.125).
