Small Wireless Facilities and Wireless Facilities in the ROW

The city's zoning regulations address telecommunications facilities (§300.34). Administrative approval may be granted for telecommunications facilities attached to an existing public utility structure within a right-of-way if compliant with height and size requirements (§300.34.3). Other telecommunications facilities in the PROW require a conditional use permit subject to standards, including compliance with design requirements and use of stealth design (§300.34.4). The code also provides detailed design and location standards for telecommunications facilities generally as well as those installed in the public right-of-way (§300.34.5.k).
