Tactical Urbanism

This report introduces the concept of parklets, presents case studies of municipal parklet programs, and provides design guidance for parklet projects. The authors developed the report to inspire and inform Los Angeles’s efforts to launch a parklet program, but most of the information is generally applicable. It profiles existing programs in San Francisco, Montreal, New York City, Vancouver, Philadelphia, Long Beach, and Oakland.
