Food Systems | Urban Agriculture

The city’s land development code addresses urban agriculture. It provides supplementary district regulations for community gardens (§41.00). Standards address hours of operation, use of equipment, maintenance, chemical applications, sales prohibitions, screening, and location. Community gardens are permitted uses in all residential, commercial, industrial, and special purpose districts — except for the flex business-industrial district — subject to those standards (§25.01.B et seq.).
