Integrated Water Resource Management

The MMSD’s regional green infrastructure plan focuses on the systematic implementation of widespread green infrastructure.  The plan is part of MMSD’s 2035 Vision, which is focused on improved water quality with no sewer overflows or basement backups.  The plan looks at green infrastructure as an essential complement to gray infrastructure for managing stormwater and reducing these occurrences. It examines the costs and benefits of green infrastructure and includes recommendations for developing programs and implementing projects.
