This functional plan addresses farmland preservation for Kenosha County, WI. It updates the original 1981 farmland preservation plan following the state’s Working Lands Initiative requiring updates to existing farmland preservation plans. The plan designates certified agricultural preservation areas and encourages the implementation of Purchase of Agricultural Conservation Easement (PACE) programs.
