Agritourism | Food Systems

The county’s general plan addresses agricultural tourism in its Agricultural Resources element. It sets a goal to provide opportunities for beneficial and compatible agritourism opportunities (Goal AR-3). The associated policy (AR-3.1) directs the county to amend the zoning ordinance to allow secondary or incidental agritourism uses on commercial agricultural properties; the policy includes conditions for permissible small- and large-scale facilities.
