Wildland-Urban Interface

The state’s building code includes a chapter for construction materials and systems within the Wildland-Urban Interface Fire Area (Chapter 7A). It establishes minimum standards for the protection of life and property by increasing the building’s resistance and thus contributing to reduction in losses.
