Scenic View Protection

The county’s comprehensive plan provides goals and policies to protect a variety of outstanding scenic resources. It provides background information on the different scenic resources in the area, such as forest, open space, scenic roads, rivers, and coastal area §10.7.2. Implementation measures include engaging the public to identified values public views, revising the sign ordinance, removing illegal billboards, and changes to lighting design guidelines (§10.7.5).
