Downtown Revitalization

The city’s zoning code includes a downtown redevelopment overlay district to encourage the restoration, redevelopment, and development of downtown (Appendix A §519). The code covers design guidelines, development standards and regulations, transportation requirements, and transit recommendations. It also includes a downtown development district for the purpose of mixed use development (Appendix A §517).
