Age-Friendly Communities

The township’s zoning code creates a Residential-Retirement Development (RRD) option to promote mixed-use development, designed to accommodate the needs of a growing population of older adults (§203-319). The regulation sets specific visitability and universal design standards for different dwelling types (203-319F(7-8)) as well as more general land use and design standards.
