This article considers whether the concentration of neighborhood amenities impacts the mental health of older adults who are high or low mobility. It shows that high mobility older adults who live in neighborhoods with low and moderate amenity density have an increased risk of depression than high mobility adults living in neighborhoods with high amenity density. There was no relationship between amenity density and depression among low mobility older adults.
