Built Environment and Health

This guide is a series of checklists that can help planners incorporate health into comprehensive plans. Checklists cover the elements of land use, transportation, water resources, parks and open space, and urbanization, redevelopment, economic development. Each element includes questions that are relevant for all sections, those that are essential to health, and those that are good for health. Each question is related to a Design For Health Topic, like social capital, accessibility, or food.
