Green Building

This guide outlines the principles of the Whole Building Design Approach to create a Beyond Green home. The eight principles include: Accessibility, Aesthetics, Cost Effectiveness, Functionality, Productivity and Health, Historic Preservation, Safety and Security, and Sustainability. It discusses when and in what circumstances these principles can be utilized in the homebuilding process. It also provides a list of green building certification systems with links to each program. The guide concludes with case studies and additional resources.
