Green Building

The city’s comprehensive plan outlines objectives to encourage green building of both public and private developments. It highlights the results from a public engagement campaign in which green building was identified as key theme. The comprehensive plan highlights objectives to promote green building standards for public buildings (LU 10.3) and to encourage the design and construction of residential buildings that utilize green building practices (H.7.1).
