This functional plan includes goals to improve the sustainability of existing buildings and ensure high green building standards for new buildings.
It outlines actions to address existing buildings, including retrofitting all public housing to meet net zero energy standards (Action 3.1), expanding green building construction training (Action 3.3), and retrofitting all public buildings to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification (Action 3.5).
