Green Building

This standalone policy presents three policy approaches to promoting green building principles for public buildings. It commits to requiring all buildings over 10,000 square feet achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification Silver (Policy 1), to financing all such projects (Policy 2), and to insuring all City department heads prescribe to these policies (Policy 3). The standalone policy concludes with a list of working definitions.
