Green Building

The city’s general development code allows for additional density bonuses for projects with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) or New Construction (LEED-NC) certifications. Buildings within the Mixed-Density Residential Overlay can receive a bonus of 15% gross density with such certifications (§1132.19.A.5). Buildings within the Residential Conservation Overlay can receive a bonus of 10% gross density with such certifications (Table 1132-14).
