Green Building

The county’s code of ordinances establishes a Green Building Fund to support green building. It identifies potential projects qualifying to receive such funds as commercial renovations seeking Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification or new commercial buildings less than 50,000 square feet pursuing LEED-NC (New Construction) or LEED-CS (Core and Shell) certification (§3.1008).
