Green Building

The county’s code of ordinances adopts the California Green Buildings Standards Code with amendments. It identifies alternative certification systems including Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and GreenPoint; it also includes standards for energy efficiency and electric vehicle features (§19.04.140).
