Green Building

The town's municipal code adopts the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) with amendments. It amends the IECC to address insulation, air infiltration, mechanical, heating and cooling, ventilation, plumbing, roofing, and additional systems and materials (§15-9-30.4). It also presents Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and Energy Star certification as equivalent to IECC compliance (§15-9-30.1).
