This briefing paper considers the impact that climate change will have on residents living in poverty in Washington state. It identifies strategies that local governments can adopt to promote social equity related to food access, mobility and accessibility, environmental hazards, housing, and climate migrants. It also provides examples of successful projects from across the state.
