Historic Preservation

The city’s codified ordinances establishes a historic preservation commission tasked with reviewing applications for historic designation and design review (Chapter 2.82). It defines specific properties that are located in each of the city’s historic districts (§2.82.065) and sets standards for issuing a certificate of appropriateness.
