Biophilic planning
This article looks at urban tree-planting initiatives in nine United States cities to identify how to reduce the deficit in green infrastructure planning. It identifies the best tree-planting practices that can be used for increasing urban forestry based green infrastructure on a larger scale. The article also uses the study areas to identify best strategies for creating a tree-planting initiative strategy.
Green Stormwater Infrastructure
This article identifies best practices for implementing green infrastructure networks by assessing urban tree-planting initiatives (TPIs). It surveys nine municipalities implementing TPIs and assesses their planning processes. The article touches on several policy considerations and opportunities for further research.
Urban Heat Resilience
