Green Stormwater Infrastructure

This toolkit contains fact sheets and resources for planning and designing low-impact development (LID). It examines LID principles and techniques and includes fact sheets on bioretention areas, cisterns and rain barrels, grass filter strips, green roofs, low-impact site design, permeable paving, roadways and parking lot design, vegetated swales, and infiltration trenches and dry wells. The toolkit also includes a discussion on how to promote LID with a stormwater bylaw.
