Green Stormwater Infrastructure

The city’s code of ordinances outlines detailed requirements for the use of low-impact development (LID) tactics in the site design and post-construction operations and maintenance of all development. It requires projects to be designed to minimize impervious surfaces and mitigate runoff pollution (§13.20.020.E) and outlines requirements for reviewing LID plans (§13.20.020.F). The code of ordinances also highlights green infrastructure requirements for street and road construction projects over 10,000 square feet (§13.20.020.C.2).
