Hazard Mitigation

This report summarizes insights from a roundtable meeting to discuss the intersection of smart growth and hazard mitigation principles and goals. It addresses the integration of these two practices in siting and design, planning and policymaking, and community engagement and education. The report concludes with a discussion on the current gaps in knowledge on this subject and opportunities for future research.
