This functional plan addresses farmland preservation within the jurisdiction. It describes how the township preserved farmland using several programs, including county easement purchase programs, county planning incentive grants, municipal planning incentive grants, and transfer of development rights (TDR). It also presents the township's 1, 5, and 10-year target to preserve 1,189 acres of farmland.
