Digital Twins and Planning

This report examines digital twins as a tool for improving smart city planning processes and technology. London, Zurich, and Athens’ digital twins are compared to reveal a range of objectives, technology, user interaction levels, outcomes, and funding sources. The findings show digital twins can improve decision-making processes, resource allocation, and infrastructure management. Challenges like data integration, privacy, and scalability are also identified.
